3. Objectives of the Workshop

Contemporary medical curricula emphasize early clinical integration. Anatomy faculty are expected to contextualize gross and microscopic structures within clinical skills teaching. However, many anatomists may not be fully conversant with the details of general and systemic clinical examination. This creates a gap between foundational anatomical knowledge and its application in bedside teaching.

The workshop will equip anatomy educators with the skills to use clinical examination images and generative AI in order to identify key anatomical concepts, verify factual accuracy, and develop concise PowerPoint slides for high-yield, clinically relevant anatomy micro-modules for 2nd and 3rd-year medical students.

7. Format & Methodology

Format of the workshop: Group activity using clinical images and AI tools using laptops.

8. Expected Outcomes

1. Formulate effective prompts for generative AI tools using clinical images to extract anatomy-focused content.
2. Deconstruct a clinical sign or general examination finding into its core surface anatomy, deep anatomy, and histological components.
3. Critically review AI-generated anatomical and histological content for accuracy, depth, and relevance.
4. Design a concise PowerPoint-based micro-module (20 minutes) highlighting anatomy concepts linked to a clinical sign or skill.

1. Title of the Workshop

Translating Research into Evidence: A Practical Workshop on Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

2. Theme / Focus Area

This workshop focuses on the optimal and responsible use of freely available tools to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reproducibility of systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The theme addresses how AI can streamline each stage of the process — from initial literature searching and screening to data extraction and synthesis — empowering researchers and clinicians to conduct high-quality reviews in less time.

3. Objectives of the Workshop

• To enhance participants' skills in conducting efficient literature searches, managing citations, and performing accurate data extraction.
• To provide participants with practical skills in using key AI tools for each phase of a systematic review.
• To create awareness about the benefits, limitations, and ethical considerations of using AI in the research methodology.

4. Target Audience

Undergraduate/Postgraduate students, clinicians, surgeons, anatomists, researchers, and educators from all fields of medical and health sciences.

• This will be a hands-on training workshop with a highly interactive approach.
• The methodology will include live demonstrations by the facilitators, followed by practical exercises where participants use their own laptops to apply the concepts.
• The workshop will incorporate case discussions, group activities, and dedicated time for troubleshooting and Q&A to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

8. Expected Outcomes

• Participants are expected to gain a strong understanding and practical proficiency in using tools for systematic reviews.
• They will be able to efficiently perform literature searches, screen hundreds of articles in a short time, and systematically extract data.
• Participants will leave with a critical awareness of AI's capabilities and limitations, empowering them to conduct more rigorous, transparent, and timely reviews, particularly in anatomical sciences.

Applied Clinical Anatomy in Assisted Reproductive Techniques: Bridging Structure and Function in Infertility Management

2. Theme / Focus Area

This workshop focuses on the clinical and applied anatomy of the reproductive system relevant to assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including in vitro fertilisation (IVF). It integrates reproductive anatomy, imaging, and interventional techniques to enhance the anatomical understanding necessary for improving outcomes in infertility treatment.

Key Areas Include:

• Pelvic anatomy and its relevance in ART procedures
• Ultrasonographic and laparoscopic anatomical perspectives
• Anatomical considerations in oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer
• Vascular and neural anatomy influencing ovarian and uterine function

3. Objectives of the Workshop

• To provide participants with an in-depth understanding of female and male reproductive anatomy relevant to infertility evaluation and ART.
• To enhance clinical and procedural skills through demonstrations of imaging-guided and cadaveric techniques used in IVF and related interventions.
• To create awareness about anatomical variations and complications that influence ART success rates.
• To promote collaboration between anatomists, clinicians, and embryologists for translational advances in reproductive medicine.
