Pre-Conference Workshops

SOCACON 2026 – World Congress of Clinical Anatomists
14th International Conference of the Society of Clinical Anatomists
Hosted at NIMS University, Rajasthan, Jaipur

Workshop -1

1. Title of the Workshop

AI-Driven Method for Creating Anatomy Micro-Modules to Incorporate with Clinical Skills

Clinical Anatomy Education

3. Objectives of the Workshop

Contemporary medical curricula emphasize early clinical integration. Anatomy faculty are expected to contextualize gross and microscopic structures within clinical skills teaching. However, many anatomists may not be fully conversant with the details of general and systemic clinical examination. This creates a gap between foundational anatomical knowledge and its application in bedside teaching.

The workshop will equip anatomy educators with the skills to use clinical examination images and generative AI in order to identify key anatomical concepts, verify factual accuracy, and develop concise PowerPoint slides for high-yield, clinically relevant anatomy micro-modules for 2nd and 3rd-year medical students.

4. Target Audience

Anatomy Faculty Members and Anatomy Postgraduate Students

7. Format & Methodology

Format of the workshop: Group activity using clinical images and AI tools using laptops.

8. Expected Outcomes

  1. Formulate effective prompts for generative AI tools using clinical images to extract anatomy-focused content.
  2. Deconstruct a clinical sign or general examination finding into its core surface anatomy, deep anatomy, and histological components.
  3. Critically review AI-generated anatomical and histological content for accuracy, depth, and relevance.
  4. Design a concise PowerPoint-based micro-module (20 minutes) highlighting anatomy concepts linked to a clinical sign or skill.

9. Maximum Participants & Registration

10. Logistics & Support Required

AV support, IT facilities, Strong Wifi, Participants should have access to free AI tools (ChatGPT Open.ai / Claude.ai).

11. Evaluation & Certification

Workshop - 2

1. Title of the Workshop

Translating Research into Evidence: A Practical Workshop on Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

2. Theme / Focus Area

This workshop focuses on the optimal and responsible use of freely available tools to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reproducibility of systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The theme addresses how AI can streamline each stage of the process — from initial literature searching and screening to data extraction and synthesis — empowering researchers and clinicians to conduct high-quality reviews in less time.

3. Objectives of the Workshop

4. Target Audience

Undergraduate/Postgraduate students, clinicians, surgeons, anatomists, researchers, and educators from all fields of medical and health sciences.
