Preparation and Submission of Abstracts

Language:

• Abstracts must be written in English only.

Template:

• Authors must prepare abstracts using the official SOCACON 2026 Abstract Template.

File & Formatting Requirements:

• File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
• Font: Times New Roman
• Font size: 12 pt (Title must be 14 pt, bold, centered)
• Line spacing: Single
• Page size: A4, portrait orientation
• Margins: 1 inch (2.5 cm) on all sides

Content Structure

• Title: Concise, clear, ALL CAPITALS, bold, centered
• Authors: Full names in correct order
• Underline the presenting author
• Mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*)
• Institutions: Full affiliation and address of all authors, centered
• Email: Email address of presenting author, centered

Abstract text must include:

• Introduction (background, context, purpose)
• Methods (study design, methodology, statistical tests)
• Results (main findings supported by data)
• Conclusion (summary, significance, implications)
• Trial Registration (if applicable – registry name and number)

Word Limit

• Maximum 250 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations)

Restrictions

• Abstracts must NOT contain figures, tables, or images
• Do NOT include citations or references
• Avoid abbreviations

Submission Process

• All abstracts must be submitted via the SOCACON 2026 Abstract Submission Form only
• Last date for submission: 15th february 2026

Review Process & Notification

• All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee
• Acknowledgement email will be sent within 5 days of submission
• If acknowledgement is not received, contact: scientific2026socacon@gmail.com
• Presenting author will be informed about acceptance or revisions
• If revisions are requested, resubmission must be completed within 7 days
• Final acceptance notification by 28th february 2026

Important Note

• The Scientific Committee reserves full rights regarding acceptance or rejection
• Mode of presentation (Oral/Poster) will be decided by the committee
• Author preference will be considered but not guaranteed
